Meet Kim, the Organizational Transformationalist with 40+ years of expertise in enhancing business performance across diverse sectors.

Kim considers herself an “organizational transformationalist” that helps organizations understand their “today” while identifying their “tomorrow” and then helps navigate the space in between.


Organizations today are extraordinarily complex and operating under particularly challenging circumstances when it comes to everything from leadership, talent utilization and growth, all while exceeding customer and shareholder or member/owner expectations.

In her years of experience, Kim has witnessed the importance of strong and consistent leadership throughout an organization.  This applies from the boardroom to senior and mid-level leaders, to front-line supervisors.  The workforce of today requires different leadership.  Agile leadership that can adapt to the ever-changing needs and demands of today’s workforce is mission critical.  Kim has been successful in building leaders at all levels of an organization. 

Kim has over 40 years business experience as a problem solver. She is quick to learn and discern what challenges an organization is facing and provides options for action for addressing these needs that stick over time. Kim has over 15 years of experience in the agricultural cooperative system, ag retail organizations, and has also served in the food processing, manufacturing, energy, financial services, and non-profit sectors. The common elements in all industries being leadership and people. Navigating this well helps organizations realize enhanced productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee engagement and retention.

Kim Burnes is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and uses this coaching framework to build skills and capabilities with her clients. Co-Active, put simply means, “being together… in action.”

 

Co-Active coaching helps participants stretch their mind-set about what’s possible for them in their careers. Whether they are an individual contributor getting ready for a future supervisory role, a first line or mid-level leader getting ready for “what’s next” in their career progression, or a new or existing senior leader wanting to skill-up development areas. Co-active coaching applies to any and all levels and professional development needs.

Prosci research tells us that for changes to be successful, we must prepare, equip and support individuals moving through changes so they can successfully adopt the change. Without adoption, changes will not be successful nor deliver the desired outcomes short or long-term.
